Position Description

In this role you will be responsible for:

Provides a full range of secretarial and administrative duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature for the Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Internal Audit.

Must exercise good judgment and be knowledgeable about department and institutional policies. Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain filing systems, particularly for internal audit as well as compliance audit purposes and to ensure organization for proper and prompt governmental request responses.

Excellent communication skills required for interactions with staff at all levels within Network to support positive relationships and compliance reporting.

In addition to the general duties described above, the Compliance Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for: maintaining the ComplyLine database (including tracking receipt of reports, report distributions, posting responses and quarterly statistics); accessing Contract database for compliance reviews, retrievals as required; assisting in preparation of Board, Steering Committee and other high level committee meeting packets, maintenance of meeting records and minutes; assisting in development and maintenance of compliance program throughout EHN (including development and preparation of annual compliance workplans; support for ongoing compliance activities and initiatives (such as Compliance & Ethics Week); assistance in creation and maintenance of annual, role-specific and issue-specific compliance education and training programs; attendance and coverage for various compliance and related meetings, orientation sessions).

Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Compliancewith the preparation of regular reports, presentations andmeeting minutes, in connection with the Quality &Compliance Committee and the Compliance AdvisorySubcommittee including sending out the meeting schedule for the calendar year and booking space, sending outannouncements, memos, putting together any materials needed and setting up needed equipment.

Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Compliance with the scheduling and preparation of audit packets and educational materials for post audit provider group education sessions and individual provider meetings.

Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Compliancewith the scheduling and preparation of packets for new provider education sessions

Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Compliancewith the preparation, faxing, and mailing of records in response to external regulatory requests.

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

High School graduate.

Some college preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years' experience as an Executive Secretary or equivalent.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requires a high level of tact, integrity, confidentiality, and ethics.

Prior experience supporting compliance officer/department desirable; experience in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required.
