Position Description

Einstein Medical Center Montgomery is a medical destination providing many new healthcare services and resources previously unavailable in the area including advanced medical and surgical care, diagnostic testing services, a neonatal intensive care unit, and 24 hour emergency care. Located on 87 acres along Germantown Pike in East Norriton, PA, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery brings the exceptional experience of Einstein Healthcare Network to residents of central Montgomery County. In this role you will be responsible for:

Using Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to produce quality diagnostic images, contributing to the efficient operation of the department to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

HS diploma or equivalent

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school
Meets all requirements for registry by the ARRT
CT Certification by ARRT required
1-2 years experience as a CT scan technologist in a hospital setting
Current ARRT licensure required
CT Registry required
CPR certification and re-certification through the American Heart Association on a bi-annual basis required

Physical Demands:

Physical Requirements: Walk and stand for prolonged periods. Position requires ability to frequently lift heavy objects, perform moderately difficult manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination skills

Visual Requirements: Near vision. Extensive exposure to video display terminals
Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversation
Working Requirements: Majority of time spent working with computer. Employee must be able to adjust routine to accommodate patient or department without affecting department flow, including extended call-back (on-call). Exposure to ionizing radiation, chemicals, unpleasant odors, body substances, and sharps
