    The Arcadia University College of Global Studies Institutional Relations Manager is responsible for representing Arcadia's more than 130 programs in 11 countries and working directly with students, advisors, and faculty in a designated U.S. region. Primary objectives of the position are to help increase awareness, recognition, and reputation of Arcadia study abroad programs, assist with the cultivation of institutional partnerships at university and colleges in a designated U.S. region, support student program selection, maximize conversion of inquiries and incomplete applicants utilizing CRM (Salesforce) and industry best practices, and maximize student and institutional partnership satisfaction by providing strong service and excellent communication. As part of the Enrollment Management Team, the Institutional Relations Manager will be responsible for helping the team to effectively achieve inquiry, application, and enrollment targets.

    This is a 10-month equivalent position (paid over 12 months) with an 8-week break that is typically given between mid-May and early July.

    This job is designed to be based in the assigned geographic region, in which case the establishment of a home office is required.

    Essential Functions:

    Student Outreach, Recruitment, and Inquiry Management (50%)

    Present and discuss Arcadia's programs and services to students through coordination of and participation in study abroad fairs, information sessions, classroom visits, and individual and group advising sessions. While most of these activities will take place on campuses, some virtual presentations and webinars will also be used to help connect with students and promote Arcadia programs; Maintain regular contact with students and follow up on inquiries from a variety of sources in a timely manner through email, phone, texting, webinars, web chat, and other means; Create inquiry response templates to help provide efficient and consistent inquiry response and collaborate with Marketing on the production of campaigns designed to increase inquiries and program applications; Collaborate with Enrollment Management staff on the efficient response to inquiries and efforts to increase the number of students who submit applications;

    College Representation,Relationship Management, and Partnership Development (25%)

    Collaborate with Associate Director of Institutional Relations and other staff on the cultivation and maintenance of relationships at key colleges and universities within a specific U.S. region through assistance with advisor meetings, campus events, and e-mail and telephone communication; Stay abreast of College initiatives being pursued by other relevant teams (Academic Affairs, Institutional Relations, Marketing, Student Services) so as to adequately represent The College with advisors, administrators, colleagues in the field, and faculty. Refer questions to appropriate staff within the College; Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and excellent judgment when representing and supporting The College at conferences, campus visits, Guild meetings, and other events; Collaborate with other Enrollment Management team colleagues on priority program-specific inquiry and application campaigns and projects;

    Administration (15%)

    Help lead and/or support key institutional relations, student outreach, and other student recruitment projects, including the Alumni Ambassador program, Study Abroad fair coordination, and other special outreach initiatives; Write timely reports to inform other College staff about levels of student interest at institutions and broader student inquiry trends; Use the Customer Relationship Management system to manage inquiries and produce reports incorporating key institutional statistical information regarding student activity; Communicate frequently with key internal and external colleagues regarding information that has been gathered or information that should be shared during outreach efforts; Recommend improvements to student outreach and recruitment and program promotion efforts;

    Market Research (5%)

    Conduct market research into international education trends, specific institutional information, and higher education data in support of specific regional strategic development planning efforts; Research trends and best practices related to higher education admissions recruitment strategies and inquiry management;

    Representation and Professional Development (5%)

    Represent the College at industry events and conferences, training workshops, and other special international education-related activities upon request.

    The two geographic regions include:

    • Northeast / OH / IL
    • West / Southwest
    • South / Southeast

    Marginal Functions:

    Assisting other offices of The College of Global Studies as needed Participating in projects for The College of Global Studies as needed. Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Two years of relevant professional experience with a minimum of one year in a higher education setting
    • Valid driver's license
    • Previous experience with study abroad, international/cross-cultural, or language programs

    This job requires frequent travel (100+ days/year on the road), including some late night, early morning, and weekend travel.
