Job Description
As an Indirect Tax Analyst in the CVS Health Tax Department, you will report to the Indirect Tax Manager and will assist in the analysis, calculation, and reporting of sales, use, excise, and similar taxes. Responsibilities may include organizing and analyzing data, preparing reports, assisting in the preparation of tax returns, supporting tax audits, researching the appropriate taxability of goods and services, reviewing tax notices and proposing solutions, and providing assistance and support on other tax projects as needed.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Assist in the preparation of sales/use tax returns
- Review and response of tax notices
- Providing support and assistance on sales tax audits
- Research and analyze sales and use tax laws to interpret how they apply to the company.
- Communicate technical tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Preparation and analysis of data to be used in sales tax returns

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Accounting Experience
- 1+ years of MS Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior sales tax experience.
- Experience working in a fast paced corporate environment.
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.

Verifiable Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
