As the Client Benefits Design Senior Manager you will focus on leading 8-10 Benefits Design & Solutions team to help CVS Health implement a portfolio of health plan clients using Benefits Automation.

You will plan, direct, supervise, and help evaluate workflow and coordinate work activities to achieve the service level goals, quality and productivity of your high functioning team.

YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS BY:
- Recommending operational improvements both strategically and in the day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures.

- Leading the performance of staff members according to established Key Performance standards

- Developing a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Your success will be driven by the success of your team in their goals for exceeding client satisfaction score targets as well as contributing to reduced service warranty payments to clients. Your healthcare industry knowledge, staff development and process improvement skills will also be a key component to your success. You will operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines so ability to operate autonomously and make key decisions is imperative. The contributions you will make will position CVS Health as a leader in client satisfaction and service in the PBM marketplace.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY INCLUDE:
- Managing and Driving key automation initiatives across multiple Clients and lines of business (commercial, exchange, Medicaid and Med D)

- Setting the strategic direction for your team/focus area and deciding where, when and how your team should be investing its time and resources

- While working on automation initiatives collaborate with clients and internal partners to create client-centric atmosphere that provides a positive customer experience and drive client loyalty

- Facilitating client meetings and presentations to provide an overview of the strategic direction related to the plan design automation

- Leading multiple key projects with multiple contending deadlines including new business implementations, improving existing client’s experience by implementing Benefit Automation

- Morphing between the role of "player" or "coach" depending on what is needed at that time to accomplish results, with an emphasis on "coach"

- Consulting with internal partners (IT, BRMs, Account Management, Clinical)

- Providing support in mentoring and training of team members

- Seeking opportunities for strategic improvements related to automation of plan design

Required Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in the Prescription Benefit Management industry
* 4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, with ability to work in fast paced, multi-tasking team environment while meeting deadlines
* Willingness and Ability to Travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of the Rx Claim
* Benefit Builder experience helpful
* Dynamic individual that thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment that is client centric; where there is high variability between client plan designs, and is passionate about delivering superior quality
* Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently by applying sound judgment based on business principles and supporting data facts
* Positive "can do" attitude with focus on team success

Education
* Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute
* Master's is preferred
