Job Description
The Director of Sales - HSA - West will be responsible for developing mutually beneficial business relationships with such Health Systems across the country. CVS Health programs and services will span all business lines within the enterprise including: Retail, Specialty, PBM, Minute Clinic, Coram, and Omnicare. CVS Health has established a variety of programs and offerings to support and collaborate with health care providers, including physician groups, hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).

This position will report to the Senior Director of Health System Business Development & Sales for Health System Alliances, and work closely with team members in Affiliate Relations, Clinical Engagement, Contracting, and 340B Account Management. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing relationships with health systems and engaging with those systems to execute collaborative contractual agreements.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

*Prospect for and develop new provider relationships in the West.
*Enhance & Expand relationships with current health systems that have a relationship with CVS Caremark and/or MinuteClinic.
*Prepare and deliver high quality presentations to physicians, physician leaders, and health system executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and CMOs.
*Be available for relatively frequent travel to the offices of health systems as required.
*Work internally with Senior Director, HSA Operations, and others across the CVS health enterprise to design a robust set of offerings for providers.
*Collaborate and strategize with other professionals across the enterprise who also have relationships with health systems.
*Work diligently and collaboratively with health system business and clinical leads to execute collaboration agreements.
*Transition relationships to affiliate relations and ensure that the contract is fully implemented by CVS health and that all contractual requirements are met or exceeded.
*Monitor the results of health system collaboration agreements and identify additional enterprise opportunities.
*Maintain an accurate sense of the healthcare delivery market relative to the Company’s strategic goals -Primary contact for competitive intelligence with provider systems in the West Region.
*Collaborate on internal market research projects to identify under-served markets and to recommend viable new opportunities, relationships, and programs. ·

Required Qualifications
* 8+ years sales experience working with health systems either directly (i.e., Hospital or ACO) or through a Payer, with demonstrated experience working with C-Suite levels within those systems.
*Strong IT and technical orientation, drives technical discussions and progress related to physician EMRs, ePrescribing, Surescripts, HIE interfaces and all provider and pharmacy related technology.
*Premier organizational skills utilizing various tracking reports

Preferred Qualifications
*Prior clinical program development experience related to quality improvement and cost effectiveness preferred.
*Population Health experience from either payer or provider side
*Health plan / provider solutions experience such as "Pay for Performance" bonus
*Strong project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external leadership.

*Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred.
