Assistant Clinical Training Coordinator - Bachelor's Degree General Responsibilities This position is responsible for assisting with the administration, management and delivery of all training services of the Professional Development Department. This position will assist the Clinical Training Coordinator and under the direction of the Director of Professional Development, will implement and monitor staff training and professional development functions including organizing trainings in both small and large group settings, scheduling and tracking training on a computerized system, implementing aspects of the training curriculum and interacting with various departments, agencies and committees as needed in regard to training. Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in education and/or human services and prior training experience. Ability and commitment to acquire additional skills, training, licensure and certifications described below.Certifications/Licensure: BCaBA Certification or in process of obtaining will be considered. BCaBA certification will be required within one year of start date in position unless already possesses a conferred Masters degree or actively enrolled and attending a Graduate level program. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. Current trainer certification in the above areas is preferred. A valid US Driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining Approved Melmark Driver status. Must attain required Train the Trainer status in Medication Administration Certification training, Approved Driver Training and CPR/First Aid/AED training.Skill(s): Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Exemplary organization skills, interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are expected. Special Education Teacher- $5,000 Bonus - Bachelor's Degree General Responsibilities The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing educational instruction to assigned students in a structured classroom environment designed to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth. He or she will develop teaching plans that are appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents (ages 5-21 years) with emotional, developmental and/or behavioral needs. The teacher position requires that staff be aware that students who are served may exhibit aggressive and/or self-injurious behavior. Students served may have had multiple treatment failures prior to this placement. Teachers are expected to implement highly technical clinical and teaching programs that require teachers to be constantly and ready to respond to student's needs. Special Education Teachers are responsible for the development and implementation of all academic programming, as well as clinical programming, of all assigned students. Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Bachelor's Degree General Responsibilities The Long-Term Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing day-to-day coverage of classrooms, in the absence of a Certified Special Educator, and for ensuring the continuity of educational instruction to assigned students within a classroom. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will provide day-to-day supervision and feedback to classroom staff in regards to ongoing implementation of the IEP and BSP for each student. Long-Term Substitute Teachers are expected to implement and model highly technical clinical and teaching programs that require staff to be constantly alert and ready to respond to student's needs. Students served may exhibit aggressive and/or self-injurious behavior. Long-Term Substitute Teachers may be asked to assist with assessments or program development, commensurate with their training and experience.
