Job Description
Join the Lockheed Martin team in our Air Force Programs locations where we are doing cutting edge engineering on missions of national strategic importance. Help us build on our more than 60 year history of supporting our Air Force customer, while we develop systems for the next 60 years.

Develops mechanical systems using CAD modeling tools in support of ICBM and Strategic System (ISS) Program initiatives. Candidate will work under the direction of other central mechanical engineering personnel in developing highly detailed structural designs. Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Entry level position

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or other related focus from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Mechanical engineering coursework.

Desired skills
Experience with any CAD modeling tool. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
