Allied Universal is seeking A Full Time Professional Security Officers in the Bristol Area. Our Security Officers allow us to contribute to our company’s core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities.
Pay Rate : $13.50
SECURITY OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initial reception and training of visitors and contractors to the site. Control access and ensure compliance. Coordinate security and initial emergency response activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the tasks listed below.
Schedule Required to work an 8 or 12-hr shift rotating or steady shift.
This role is staffed 24 hrs. per day, 365 days per year.
Valid Driver's License Required
-Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time in a repetitive operation.
-Working environment is both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather both day and night in plant required PPE.
-Access Control ?
Locking and unlocking doors & gates.
? Proctor indoctrination tests, grade tests, and provide feedback.
-Asset Protection ?
Verify and track gate passes.
? Monitor vehicles exiting the site for potential to monitor/inspect vehicles for potential theft or contraband.
? Random searches of people or vehicles entering and exiting the site.
? Conduct security rounds on specified frequency.
Inspect inbound shipments to DOW via tank trucks, box trailers and
? Validate photo ID’s for entry into the plant.
? Monitor security camera.
? Print employee records providing them to the IRL.
? Open gates for the fire department.
? Monitor gatehouse alarms and respond appropriately.
? Monitor radio communications.
Example: Having the ability to use the on-site dispatch terminal to notify the emergency response to our site
captains emergency situations take place.
? Communicate incident notifications as required (phone and email).
? Take incident notes and a timeline until relieved
? Maintain gate access system.
? Maintain perimeter gates and fence line.
? Operate a vehicle as needed daily.
? Report security equipment failures via work notification system
